Global News To Beat the Blues
What a sign-filled season. We are truly living in the “times of the signs”. We have the privilege of seeing science catch up to the Bible. Parents can see their pre-born children, breathing, moving, reacting to stimuli - you know, living! All before they arrive in this world.

As the USA debates the sanctity of life, pray for revelation of LIFE and affirmation of lives. Pray for revelation of LIFE and affirmation of lives, remembering:
You were born for such a time as this! With all of the strain that planet earth is experiencing, you are part of the solution. Isaiah wrote the time would come when we would call “Good evil, and evil, good” (Isaiah 5:20) Certainly we are living in such a time.
I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; (Deuteronomy 30:19)

~ This month, thanks to your generosity we were able to send support to Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund. This is a significant therapeutic community for orthodox Jewish children traumatized by terrorism. It is in the heartland of Israel and provides counseling and recovery, education and edification to approximately 2000 children! David Rubin, the former Mayor of Shiloh, leads this valiant effort.
~ You also sent a significant donation to Avner and Rachel Boskey, on the frontlines of Messianic revelation near Beersheva, Israel. They write original music, lead worship, raise up next-generation leaders, and brilliantly document how Biblical prophecy is unfolding before our eyes.

Revelations Through Jews We Can Re-Use
Bethlehem: M and K, “back in the day” filming “Ruth / Your People Shall be My People” on Shavuot
Shavuot (the Feast of Weeks, Pentecost) is upon us! It is a time of revelation of Yeshua and empowerment by the Ruach Ha Kodesh (The Holy Spirit). Just as He appeared to many before He ascended on the 40th day after Passover, so He wants to appear afresh to all of us in this Pentecost season. On Shavuot:
We celebrate receiving the Word of God
We read the Book of Ruth, believing for a harvest of Jews and Gentiles together
We remember the parallels between Mount Sinai and Mount Zion:
On Mount Sinai, God gave the Law amidst thunder and lightning! (Exodus 19:16)
On Mount Zion, God sent tongues of fire to the heads of the disciples! (Acts 2:1-4)
Sinai – the birth of the ‘holy nation’ of Israel (Ex 19:6)
Zion – the birth of the Body of Messianic believers (the “ekklesia” Acts 2)
Sinai - the Torah made the Israelites a cohesive Body with a priestly calling (Ex 19:5)
Zion - the Spirit made the disciples a cohesive Body with a priestly calling (1 Peter 2:8)
Sinai – looks with joy toward the physical harvest (Ex 19:14-16)
Zion – looks with joy toward the spiritual harvest (Acts 1:8)
Sinai - 3000 died due to unbelief / idolatry (Exodus 32:28)
Zion – 3000 “born-again” through belief in Messiah (Acts 2:41)
Sinai - the Law was given on tablets of stone (Ex 31:18)
Zion - the Law was written on our hearts (2 Corinthians 3:3)
I hope you can see the reality of the “one new man” of Ephesians 2 emerging in our day. As we love Israel in practical and spiritual ways, we see the “People of the Book”, both Jews and Christians, recognizing our spiritual connection with each other.
The Hebrew scriptures and the Newer Testament are of one piece.It is God’s long love story and YOU play a vital part in it.Blessings on your house!
